Soup passed away suddenly and unexpectedly after a storm, just a short time after she freshened with the most beautiful udder. It's hard to describe just what her udder was like in person. We were thrilled seeing her come into the milk room every day. The extreme height and beautiful wide udder arch were shown off by strong attachments. She was a barn favorite, and we couldn't wait to milk her through a lactation and watch her udder settle in, lose its edema, and bloom into the masterpiece I know it would have. I would give anything to have her back. I miss her calm, sweet personality and her eyes that looked right through me. She left a huge hole in the heart of this farm. After her passing, we were able to buy back her beautiful son "Batman." We look forward to seeing her grandbabies.
